Ingrid recently joined us as EAI's International Representative to Germany. She is the founder of Thükop e.V. association (cooperation partner for the development of network structures in rural Thuringia). Her main project is the "Osterpfad-Vogtland" project. This is a wonderful project that includes a yearly festival with multiple exhibits around Vogtland, Germany. There is a cafe, bazaar, classes, music and 50,000 hand-painted eggs displayed and so much more. We are so happy that Ingrid has joined us in making EAI a truly international organization promoting egg artistry! MAP Update: The program has begun! Get your eggs ready! There has been some confusion regarding our Facebook Group formerly called International Egg Art Gallery. We have had such tremendous growth of our EAI member's as well as our Facebook group especially among non-English speaking members. We encourage all our members to post your eggs and show support for those that do.

Our very popular Facebook group called International Egg Art Gallery is pleased to announce the "most liked" eggs for June. It was very close this month. In fact, there was a tie so there are four winners this month. These artists are incredibly talented. In fact, all the artists whose work has been posted is amazing. Thank you, artists, for all your hard work and posting these beautiful creations for all to enjoy.

Natalie Kit received the 2023 Royal Canadian Mint Silver Pysanka Coin. She based her design on ancient Trypillian motifs. Egg Art International is so proud of you and this wonderful accomplishment.

What is MAP? It is a progressive assessment program for all ages and styles of egg art thru a widely accepted method of photo submission, in-person and mail-in judging. The certification ultimately can lead to the title of Artisan, Master Artisan and Supreme Master Artisan. Read about it here. Our MAP team has been busy putting the final touches on this wonderful program with some of the very best egg artists in the world judging these eggs. Applications will be accepted starting July 7, 2023. I have been also working on a children's section titled Kids Korner. This has proved to be more difficult than I had realized as there is such a lack of material. If anyone has videos, patterns, books that they would like to share please let me know thru our email team@eggartinternational.org.
